Making A Long-lasting Impact

Advocacy & Systemic Change
At ForGirlsLikeMe, we fight for systems that actually work for girls and young women — not against them. Through advocacy and strategic partnerships across Illinois' 2nd Congressional District, we raise awareness about the real challenges facing young women ages 12–24. Through our Pathways to Promises Housing First Project, we serve girls experiencing homelessness and housing instability at four levels: - Crisis Housing — 8 emergency beds for immediate safety - Transitional Living — 12 beds with intensive wraparound support - Rapid Re-Housing — 20 youth annually placed into stable housing - Drop-In / SSO Services — 200 youth annually connected to resources We're not just meeting immediate needs — we're changing the systems that created them.

Integrated Care — One Team, One Roof
No more telling your story to six different strangers. At ForGirlsLikeMe, all of our services talk to each other — because your life doesn't come in separate pieces. Through our integrated model, girls and young women access housing support, mental health services, case management, educational programming, childcare, career training, legal advocacy, and family counseling — all coordinated by one team. Our Harvey and Chicago locations serve as hubs where Pathways to Promises and ForGirlsLikeMe Academy work together to address the whole person. If your organization is ready to partner in systems change that centers the voices of girls and young women in Illinois' 2nd Congressional District.
